This is the 3rd time we've used Max Hurtzler, excuse spelling. They have many hire stations especially alcudia end. I can't recommend them enough, really slick service. Every morning there's High5 for your bottles etc. they have shops, where kit is very cheap but top quality, €20 buys a shirt, if you forget anything they have it cheaper than the uk.

Sounds great Jonty. Which hire shop did you use? We have a couple we go to but each year is getting harder to book a bike - lots of demand!

Hi all, just starting a weeks training, roads are still fab, the hire bike is fantastic as always, a full carbon with ultegra gearing for €15 per day! It flies along. Heading to Buger this morning for coffee in the square.

Thanks Dave, I'm on strava (Jonty Williams) and I've already loaded up some planned routes, starting & finishing in the alcudia area. I've previously stayed in Santa ponsa and cal les de Mallorca. The latter is very flat. I recommend alcudia, pollenca areas, best of both worlds.
First ride will be up to the lovely village of Buger for a coffee in the fab square, then I know I've arrived :)

Although I have two trips to Mallorca scheduled for this Spring (in April and May) I still find myself envious that you are off there this week! Have a great time Jonathan - any good info or routes then please post them in this group on your your return!  Hope the sun shines warm for you - it usually does!

Hi all I'm heading to Majorca on the 27th March for my 6th visit to this lovely island. I highly recommend a trip there to enjoy smooth roads, warm sun, great hospitality and lap up the culture. I'm leading a small group this time, and already I have people wanting to hop aboard for 2015! Now hoping for good weather :)
