I wouldn't use anything else now!!
Thanks Mike. I do cut the grass regularly, but I was lucky to inherit a garden from the previous residents who knew what to plant!! In the right border I'm losing a battle with weeds........
That garden is a credit to you Rob, grass cut, edges trimmed, flower beds brimming with vigour; all of which serves to demonstrate my own inadequacy in this area. But it's no good, I can't muster the enthusiasm for horticulture, it eats into my cycling time.
And the bike looks fine too. I have a soft spot for the Boardman, having used two for all-weather commuting over the years I know how appealing they are.
I picked up the new bike yesterday.
The pedals have been changed this afternoon - I'm trying out my trusty DMR V8s for now that I took off my Trek 8.3DS and I've ordered some Schwalbe Marathon GT 365 tyres.
I like the personalized Rapid Robs, but want something with a bit more puncture protection and road grip as well as off road grip and the Marathon GT's seem to offer that.
Garage space dictates that I need to get rid of a bike so my Trek is off to pastures new - a long term loan to my dad.
I get bonus points from the wife for getting rid of a bike while not really getting rid of it!!
