Sounds lovely :) I'd like to cycle abroad one day. The Wooler Wheel Borderlands sportive is on Saturday, I'll be doing the 100K. The roads will be new to me, so that's always a bonus!

Hi Corrine There are a couple of routes, the best takes up from 460m in the Rhone valley and then down perhaps 300m before continuing on up and finish at around 1600m. Its a amazing valley with so much great cycling both MTB and road. Of course everywhere is special by bike just down two lovely rides in the UK in Somerset and Dorset, thinking about Northumberland it would be nice to ride there again.
