Ian Bibby ahead of the field on his way to seizing victory on the Madison Genesis team’s debut in the Norglide Elite Criterium at the IG London Nocturne.
Special mention should go to Pete Hawkins of IG-Sigma Sport, who launched a fine comeback effort (exhibiting full Rule 5 compliance) after effectively having his right leg sandpapered when crashing on one of the specially designed nonslip corners early in the race.

Comment by Justin Hutchinson on February 3, 2013 at 11:10 Yes, great to see such a crushing victory performed on a steel bike. Speaking of new pro bikes I've been much assumed by the videos of the key pro riders - Cavendish, Boonen etc saying that this years bikes are the best and fastest they've ever ridden - strange that no one claims the bikes from last years sponsor was better.
