As Robyn says MR, it's an Aussie story, but I thought the picture was excellent. If somewhat frightening.
Original story comes from Cycling Tips. http://cyclingtips.com/2016/07/shane-archbold-after-breaking-his-pe...
If I didn't live in the hills, gorgeous! ;)
And 5kg of that is dangly derailleur!!!!! ;-p xxxx
Crikey! My Summer carbon bike is 6kg, it be mince meat!
I've had aluminium and it's alright, still prefer steel though. I must do, I've got three.
With my beloved Former Plug, I'd have shreiked at this point 'Steel is Real!' but my new squeeze is aluminium and just as bombproof. Pooh, did I also mention the fact that it's PIIIIIIIIINK!!!!!!
Ow! Expensive paperweight that (except it's too light to be a paperweight)
Here's another reason I won't be pursuing my dream for a carbon bike .....
