New mobile version of Wheelsuckers is launched

If you've visited Wheelsuckers recently using your smartphone, you'll have noticed we've just introduced a new mobile version of the website.

This is a big improvement that makes it much easier to use Wheelsuckers while you’re on the move. It’s currently in beta release so it’s possible that a few bugs may pop-up but initial feedback from members that have used it has been very positive.

The default page when you arrive at the mobile site is “Latest Activity” but you can switch to the other sections – forum, photos, events, groups & blogs - using the menu on the top right hand corner of the screen. Currently, you can create forum discussions & blog posts from your phone as well as view, like & comment on content others have posted. Also, if you're using our Events feature to organise your group rides, the riders you invite can now RSVP straight from their phones so you'll know who's riding, who isn't and who might just turn up!

If the site doesn't switch automatically to the mobile version on your phone, just scroll to the bottom of the page you're viewing and click the text "Switch to mobile optimised view".

If you have any feedback on the mobile version of Wheelsuckers, please submit it here

Handy tip: to make accessing the mobile site faster, go to www.wheelsuckers.co.uk using your phone’s web browser then:

  • If you have an iPhone, tap the "Go To" icon at the bottom, then tap “Add to Home Screen” this will add the Wheelsuckers icon to your home screen.
  • If you have an Android phone, add the Wheelsuckers url as a bookmark and then long-press on the Wheelsuckers icon. On the menu pop-up, choose the last option to add it to your home screen.

Next time it's one tap and you're there!
