Result. Today the first time in two weeks my morning ride was on dry roads and I didn't need overshoes. Probably means it's getting colder.

If I had a pool there would have been a skin of ice over it this morning, we were blessed with the first frost of the winter.  Bit nippy on the fingers but it sure did look purdy.

I don't have a pool either Dave, but there's an old iron bathtub in the yard for the animals to drink out of that would probably make do.

No pool MtB? Bang goes my pool boy fantasy! Always the bridesmaid, never the bride....

What a life you lead MR, out there at the very edge of the empire.  If, and it's a big if, we come back after death, I shall ask to be posted somewhere warm and dry.

Mind you, it's not all roses.  Our friends in Spain have just shelled out a large number of Euros having their pool repaired, which is an expense I am never likely to meet.

I haven't worn overshoes since leaving England. Just saying. Hehe! Did need to don toe covers once I think.
