Still not on the bike.. It was actually slightly bent (glad i took it to the LBS) and is in getting jigged.
As you know i have a few bikes, and have been instructed by the physio to try and do some light indoor cycling.. but only managed to walk short distances so far,so putting it off.. really need to try some this week.
Gonna be hard going getting back on the road..mentally as well as physically.. But i've upgraded my wheels to tubeless,so i've gotta get my moneys worth now! :)
I put a description of the accident on my introduction thread... Basicly i was cycling through green lights and got wiped out by a car crossing from the other direction.. i guess they never saw me till i was flying across their bonnet..Bike is ok apart from a bent front wheel and snapped crud racer (part missing) Not that i'll be out on it this year.. IF i do get out before 2019 it'll be on the winter bike. Before that i need a new helmet as it's cracked in 3 places... probably saved my head though.
Back hurts like hell.. Leg is getting better and i can walk without crutches, after 3 weeks on them.
Crikey, I'm not sure a fellow should enquire further but I hope you heal soon.
I could manage the pub,but not the cycle to it... got any cures for torn soft tissue after being hit by a car...
Nay lad, the cure for the twisted digit is a long weekend in Jersey with a companion of loose morals. It's medically recognised to be infallible although, because of the cuts, it's no longer available on the NHS.
